Class 1 Autumn Work
Wow! What an exciting first term we have had in class 1. The children have settled into school life so well, especially our newest members of the class. We have all enjoyed being out on the playground together, no longer being in our bubbles.
We have had fun learning through play and through our mini topics; Autumn, people who help us, Diwali and Christmas.
We were lucky enough to have a visit from Sunita Patel leading up to Diwali. She told us the story of Rama and Sita and then the children took part in some Indian dancing while dressed in traditional clothing. It was so much fun!
They also produced some fantastic Rangoli patterns which can be seen on display in school.
The children did really well at our harvest assembly especially as this was the first time in front of an audience.
The children did a brilliant job of getting us in the festive mood as we moved closer towards the end of term. Their performances in 'There's something Amazing going on' were absolutely fantastic. We were so proud.
Well done class 1 on a great first term. We are looking forward to seeing all the wonderful work you will do next term....
