Welcome to Class 1 Homepage

Welcome to Class 1! Our exciting topic for this term is ‘Me and My Pet’. As part of our learning for this topic we shall be: learning about each other, discovering how different families live, as well as researching how to look after pets. We will also be having a visit from the Zoo Lab to experience some animals up close and personal.

The first half term will also focus on learning new school routines and how to look after our classroom.

In our Literacy and English lessons we shall become familiar with lots of interesting stories such as: ‘The Colour Monster’, ‘Elmer’ and ‘The Tiger Who Came to Tea’.

In Maths we shall be exploring numbers up to 10 and how they can be represented in many different ways.

It’s going to be such an interesting term!
